Even though it does not always seem like it, the Lord God Omnipotent reigns. The Church of Jesus Christ continues to reap a wonderful harvest, and God has chosen you to be a laborer

Micah had a dream of what could be, and then he invited his readers to live toward that alternative world. We find that we have the same invitation too...not just to hope, but to reshape our lives, which the gift of Jesus and His power make possible.

Paul begins by contrasting earthly existence (tent) with heavenly existence (building). One is impermanent and the other permanent, when what is mortal is swallowed up by life.

What kind of dividing walls exist in your life today? Are they scriptural/spiritual or do they have to do with the god of self? By the power of the Spirit and in Christ, you are built into the household of God.

There can be no one to collect on God’s people . . . on the debt for their sin or the certificate for their divorce . . . because there isn’t one. God is not negligent. God has not forgotten. God has not forsaken us. He has placed all of it on Christ--he is the forsaken of Psalm 22, not us.

This generous Christ gives up His own life in love for others. This love from Christ controls the Christian, or it should.

The challenge of the ‘unknown’ is always a fact of life with people in this world. The Genesis 41 passage shows that even Pharaoh had this type of challenge. What do you do when faced with the unknown? What can you do?

Christians do not lie because they are to be image-bearers of Christ and they do not lie because lying destroys relation-ships, and being a part of the body of Christ is all about community and close relationships.

One of the keys to John's gospel is that the 'test' of any person is his/her reaction to Jesus. to be confronted with Jesus is to be confronted with Truth. Do you follow Jesus, or do you turn away from Him and His Truth?

We must be careful today to understand that our cross is not THE CROSS that Jesus alone could bear. But, we must also be willing and read to bear whatever the Father places upon us . . .

The resurrected Christ not only affects our behavior, but also attitude. Conduct yourself with ‘fear’ (reverence) toward God.

Praise leads to submission. Only as we yield to God's rule can we truly worship Him.

The key in giving to God is that we first give ourselves to the Lord.

One must remember that adoration is not so much about words, but rather about the posture one has before God – the attitude of praise one brings in their heart. Adoration is a sense of wonder and awe be-fore the Living and Loving God.

All are called to be ‘proclaimers’ of the gospel. A proclaimer of the gospel is one who finds a home in the Word of God, and who seeks to give expression to this word in daily life.

Does God intend to delimit salvation only to a certain kind of people, or is it intended for all people's in the world? Not all persons...but all types of people.

Why do human beings sing? Have you ever thought about that question before? What is or can be the purpose of singing?

Come to Jesus and experience how your ordinariness can be transformed into the extraordinary . . . just like Peter on the Sea of Galilee

As can be seen in Elijah’s story, God knows you need help, and He comes and meets you in your need. You need never feel alone or helpless.
