The darkness and cold increase as we approach the shortest day of the year here in the northern hemisphere. Amidst the activity of the holiday season, nature invites us to be still, to be quiet, and to be present to the darkness deep within us and without us. It’s by acknowledging and walking through this darkness that we are better able to connect with the light.
