Not long till EASTER so I thought I would put together a little teaser podcast for you all. Super excited to be playing at Crash Palace this Easter, Good Friday at The Alumbra in Melbourne, brought to you by those who brought you Rock City! From humble beginnings as an actor and dancer to the decks of some of Australia’s most renowned clubs and events, DJ MKY has officially landed, smack-bang, centre stage… and it’s only the beginning. Given his debut at long-running Sydney mega party Daywash and being a finalist in the Mardi Gras Spin-Off Competition, he was soon to be snapped up by some of Australia’s hottest clubs including The Shift, ARQ Sydney, Columbian and Nevermind not only for his “hands-in-the-air” musical style, but for the energy that explodes from him when he gets behind the decks and takes control of the dancefloor. Finding his true calling as a naturally talented DJ with a music, dance and theatre background, he combines decades of performing for audiences, with his outstanding party-boy and gogo dancing experience, to achieve a sound that takes the dancefloor on a journey through what they think they want, what they truly want and what they didn’t even know existed.
