With spring football in the books, the Hawkeye Report Podcast looks back at what we learned on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium, including an extended conversation on quarterbacks. Plus we dive into football and basketball recruiting news and notes, along with Brent’s rundown on Iowa Baseball. The Hawkeye Report Podcast was back at 2 Dogs Pub in Iowa City on Tuesday evening with a pair of very special guests. We were joined by Iowa hoops standouts Anthony Clemmons and Mike Gesell to talk about their Hawkeye careers, the impact they had on the program, and they look ahead at the future of Iowa Hoops. Really good stuff from Clemmons and Gesell that we think you will enjoy.

Plenty to discuss on this edition of the Hawkeye Report Podcast. We were joined by former Hawkeye Julian Vandervelde to talk about the open practice on Friday at West Des Moines Valley High School and what we saw from the Iowa Football team. Plus we get Julian’s thoughts on the challenge of moving from guard to center. We also discuss the USA Olympic Wrestling event this past weekend and Dan Dennis making the team, plus Brent gives his update on the Iowa Baseball team.

The Hawkeye Report Podcast returned to Rocky O’Brien’s in North Liberty on Thursday night and we were joined by Matt Henderson, who is with the Iowa athletic department to talk about football season ticket sales, improving the environments at Kinnick and Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and the new look of the I-Club spring banquet circuit this spring.

The Hawkeye Report Podcast was back at Rocky O’Brien’s in North Liberty on Wednesday night for a show filled with plenty of news from what turned out to be an eventful day in Iowa City. We discuss the departure of Brandon Hutton from the basketball team and if Nicholas Baer will be put on scholarship. Plus we break down the Iowa Football press conference and the situation with Drew Ott and his appeal to the NCAA based on comments earlier in the day from Hawkeye assistant coach Reese Morgan.

Spring football is underway in Iowa City and we talk a little pigskin on Monday afternoon from Backpocket Brewing in Coralville. We take a look at the rumblings from the first few days of spring football for the Hawkeyes and some of the position battles taking place. Plus, we talk Iowa baseball after the Hawkeyes took two out of three this weekend against Maryland.

We wrap up the 2015-16 Iowa basketball season with special guest Kenyon Murray on the Hawkeye Report Podcast. We look back at the season, the loss to Villanova in the NCAA Tournament. Plus we discuss Peter Jok and his decision to test the NBA Draft waters and look ahead to next season for the Hawkeyes and in the Big Ten.

Spring is in the air and so is spring football as the Hawkeyes held their first official practice on Wednesday in Iowa City. We were joined by former Hawkeye standout Bruce Kittle to discuss what spring football is like for a coach and what they are looking for from players. We also discuss the big news of the day, Peter Jok testing the NBA waters and a pair of defections from the women’s hoops program.

We call this an “emergency” podcast, but it really wasn’t an emergency. We simply wanted to get another Hawkeye Report Podcast in before the start of the NCAA Tournament later this week. So we ventured over to our home at 2 Dogs Pub in Iowa City to look back at Iowa’s short trip to the Big Ten Tournament and look ahead to the Hawkeyes match-up later this week in Brooklyn against Temple. Plus we talk a little women’s hoops, wrestling, and Iowa baseball.

With the Big Ten Tournament upon us, the Hawkeye Report Podcast took a deep dive into the Iowa Basketball team on Monday night. We were joined by John Bohnenkamp from the Burlington Hawkeye and Alex Giaimo from WHBF-TV to look at the Hawkeyes chances of making a run in the Big Ten Tournament and their NCAA seed. Plus we discuss a big recruiting weekend for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa football team, Hawkeye wrestling, women’s hoops, and Iowa baseball and their home opener on Tuesday.

The Hawkeye Report Podcast was back at 2 Dogs Pub on Sunday for a game watch and then we tried to make some sense of exactly what’s going on with the Hawkeye Basketball team after they fell to Ohio State. We were joined by former Hawk Kenyon Murray to break down the loss to the Buckeyes and try to figure out if Iowa can snap out of their funk that has resulted in losses in four of the their last five contests.

The Hawkeye Report Podcast headed to Rocky O’Brien’s in North Liberty and we tried to make figure out exactly what’s going on with the Iowa Basketball team with our special guest, former Hawkeye standout Adam Haluska. We look back at Iowa’s loss to Wisconsin and take a deep dive into what went wrong. Plus we look at the Big Ten title race and we talk some women’s hoops, plus we discuss Drew Ott’s situation and if he will be back for his fifth year.

We take a deep dive into the numbers for the Iowa Basketball team and look ahead at the Big Ten race and the Hawkeyes Big Ten title chances. The Hawkeye Report Podcast returned to Backpocket Brewing in Coralville for a special lunch show with Iowa Football Assistant Coach Seth Wallace. We take an in-depth look at the 2016 Iowa Football recruiting class with Wallace and talk about the entire recruiting process for college football.
