  • 220: How I Became a Millionaire - with David Osborn

    23/05/2018 Duración: 49min

A few years ago, I was invited to speak at an event for the non-profit One Life Fully Lived. While I was there, I saw David Osborn speak for the first time, and I was captivated by his rare blend of authenticity, transparency, expertise, and contribution. He shared his story of transforming from a troubled youth into a self-made millionaire, showing us where every dollar came from as he amassed a fortune worth over $70 million. I’d met a few other millionaires, but none at that level - and few who were willing to openly share the real secrets to their success in a sincere effort to help others. You may have seen my email on Monday announcing that David and I co-authored a new book, Miracle Morning Millionaires: What the Wealthy Do Before 8 AM That Will Make You Rich. On today’s podcast episode, David shares his story, his background, and gets you inside the mind of someone who has achieved the financial freedom we'd all love to have. • 219: Meet the Meanest Woman Alive – Linda Smith

    16/05/2018 Duración: 38min

Over her 40+ year career, Linda Smith has reached the summit of the legal profession. She’s litigated on behalf of IBM and Intel, and dealt with male egos as big as Michael Dell’s and Mick Jagger’s without ever breaking a stride. Linda is also a blogger and author at MeanestWomanAlive.com. She writes about confronting gender stereotypes, self-sabotage, alpha males, and how to seize and hold on to leadership positions. She believes that women should abandon the societal norms dictated by men and use their own playbook - as well as uniquely feminine advantages - to dominate in business. Today, Linda joins the podcast to discuss that playbook, Smashing Glass and Kicking Ass: Lessons from the Meanest Woman Alive. We talk about why a lack of women in leadership roles holds both women and great companies back, the potentially traumatic experiences that helped Linda become who she is today, and what “mean” really means. 09/05/2018 Duración: 26min

Rob decided at the age of 4 that he wanted to speak to the world. 54 years later, he’s a radio personality, commercial voice actor, and the leader of a new movement getting people motivated to take action in their lives. Today, Rob joins the podcast to discuss his new (and first) book, The Law of Action: Gain Perfect Clarity, Boost Your Confidence and Get More Results NOW. • 211: What I Did To Beat Cancer

    21/03/2018 Duración: 50min

In October of 2016, I woke up in the middle of the night, struggling to breathe. Days later, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia—a very rare and aggressive form of cancer—with a survival rate of 30%. I was told that I had a matter of days to start chemotherapy, or I would die. I took a somewhat unique approach to beating cancer that combined the best of Western medicine with holistic practices to detoxify my body as the chemo wreaked havoc upon it. Not only did I survive, but I experienced less side effects than most cancer patients. Today, I’m doing my first solo episode, in a very long time, to tell my story and present the Miracle Equation that helped save my life. Whether you know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer, you yourself have been diagnosed with cancer, or you simply want to minimize your risk of ever getting cancer, this episode is for you. 14/03/2018 Duración: 26min

Today I got together with my long-time friend, Carey Smolensky, to discuss an important topic that I don’t often talk about – happiness. Carey has also been helping to produce spectacular live events for years, including our annual Best Year Ever Blueprint, and after years of us twisting his arm he’s finally producing his own first major event—The Passion Summit—in Chicago on May 7th and 8th. At The Passion Summit, I will be presenting a brand new keynote—titled What Matters Most?—and helping to answer this universal question that we don’t typically ask. (If you’re interested in attending The Passion Summit, click here to register. Use the code YOPALVIP to save up to $350.) But before that, I think you’ll really enjoy today’s conversation about Happiness & Fulfillment.  Show Notes: HalElrod.com/210
