Creatively Disrespectful

….Just a rambling kind of day.

It is literary mixtape time. What is that you may ask? Think of it as a chapbook, in audio form. One step down from an audiobook, one step up from an journal entry. This project is about the death of a star. And the birth of an orbit. Here's to the journey!! *there may be things here that can be triggering so tread lightly, but remember - Ain't No Victims, Ain't No Saints.

I am on a sabattical.... by design & by choice. Sometimes we all need a break. This is mine.

2023 has been a HELLUVA year, but as one heads for a sense of renewal, it is safe to say that what needs to go will go and what needs to stay will stay.

As we're closing out this year, it is important to recognize the strength, the power, the playground and the yard you walked out of before you take off. TRIGGER WARNING: For a brief second, there will be some heavy things here so please consume at your level of comfortability.

Its almost closing time for awhile so let's talk about the send off, the next stage, the in-betweens and what starting over looks like in loose form.

I have recognized that I am losing sight of all the things I love, the things that push me and make me who I am and what that all looks like in the end. So, what is the best way to reignite if you never have the chance to shut it all off??

Today's episode is a bit random, a bit about life, freedom, who you are, who you want to be what it means to take the first step through the looking glass.

I have been underground lately. Somewhat by choice and also cause life has just been far too busy and hectic. Time to talk about all the projects, life as of late and what being o the otherside of growing looks like.

.....multiple times of "not knowing my place" brought us here today. My question is always - If I am me and I govern this body and these actions, then who else is supposed to know my place for me? Just another day in the office really.

Closing out this quarter seems a bit different. And as I'm taking more and more things into context, we found ourselves at this rant, of sorts.

What does it take to be the person you fearlessly want to be?

.....sometimes lessons and inspiration come from the most unexpected places.

Today, I found myself breaking apart the good, bad, in-between and down time that comes with this business owner, hyper-creator life.  There's layers.... and sometimes, peeling back those layers means that vulnerability is seen as a guard dog instead of a badge of protection as it often is. 

Today, we're starting off the week with the motto of "Use Your Words". It pays to not only be honest with others, but most importantly, yourself and your placement in the world. 

Its not over. Now, we will talk briefly about the house, my takeaways from being in Charleston a brief amount of time and what it looked like to come home.
