age growth in job ads has plateaued at historically high levels. That’s according to the findings of a new research collaboration between Central Bank of Ireland and Indeed published this morning. The US midterm elections finish tomorrow and many of us will be watching to see if the Donald Trump-controlled Republicans regain control of the US Congress.  Speaking to Joe this morning was Daniel Beckman and his company Soapbox which collects edits, and shares user-generated content. He has worked on numerous election campaigns in the US - including the famous 2008 campaign which saw Barack Obama win the White House.

Ryanair has just published its numbers for the first half of the financial year. Profit after tax reached €1.37 billion and that is more than the equivalent profits before the outbreak of COVID-19.  Neil Sorohan CFO of Ryanair joined Joe this morning on the show.
