Some notable changes for bank customers have come into force
06/10/2025 Duración: 07minSome pretty notable changes for bank customers came into force over the weekend. One of the changes SEPA or instant payments will mean transfers taking no more than 10 seconds at any time of the day or night. The other Verification of Payee or VOP could pose problems. That's because if you're paying someone online you have to get their full name exactly correct and not an approximation. BPFI launch nationwide information and awareness campaign including online resource Payrightnow.ie. Joe spoke to Gill Byrne, Head of Payments at the banking and payments Federation Ireland.

David Burt the Premier and Finance Minister of Bermuda

They pay for much of the Bermudan economy which has the fourth highest GDP per capita in the world on paper. Very large companies based in Bermuda had paid a cool 0% corporation tax until January this year when the new 15% rate was introduced in line with the OECD reforms. Merck Life Science world’s first climate neutral manufacturing facility in Cork
