Financial services company SEI opens its biggest European office in Dublin

The company said it picked Dublin for staff retention purposes. SEI specialises in areas including investment processing, operations and asset management. The Appeals Centre Europe will be based in Ireland

New grant scheme for companies called Power Up
09/10/2024 Duración: 03minThe Government has announced a new grant scheme for companies called Power Up. It means SMEs who have seen a significant surge in energy costs since 2022 can get a grant worth up to €4000 supposedly this side of Christmas. Joe asked Enterprise Minister Peter Burke how the money would be allocated and whether it would be an easier process than the last energy support scheme for businesses.

Building Ireland's big infrastructure projects

The findings of MyHome Property report
07/10/2024 Duración: 07minA study from MyHome.ie suggests that we would need another 200,000 homes to have the same ratio of homes to population that the UK already has. It follows, therefore, that asking prices for property are rising by 7.5% over the past 12 months with one in 7 homes selling now for 20% above the asking price. Conall Mac Coille is chief economist with Bank of Ireland and author of the MyHome Property report.
