    22,000 consumers have complained about a product or service they received in the first half of this year according to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. That’s up nearly a fifth on last year.  The most complained about sectors were vehicles and transport and then telecoms and broadband.  Joe discusses these findings with Grainne Griffin from the CCPC.

    Having our first coffee of the day is a ritual all over the world and for some it's essential to wake up and kickstart the day.  Ireland was late to the coffee revolution but is now taking to it with gusto.  There are even coffee festivals here like the one in Birdhill in Tipperary. Alan Andrews runs that festival but also sells something called Boutique coffee in his coffee shop called GUJI in Limerick and Cork.

And can they be switched? Joe discuss this further with Ciara O’Brien is Business and Technology Journalist with the Irish Times.

    According to Aviva Ireland, the number of people suddenly withdrawing their claims against individuals and companies just before their court hearing has jumped by 20%.  Some of that is down to Guards or insurance companies alerting the police about suspected fraudulent claims. But will this mean premiums should start falling?  Brian O’Connor, Chief Claims Officer, Aviva Insurance Ireland which represents 13% of the entire market.

But data from myHome.ie has confirmed just how tight the sales market is in Ireland by showing that the number of properties available last month was 50% lower than July 2014 despite having built at least 200,000 homes in that time.  The problem is especially acute in Munster where there are now 61% fewer properties to buy than 10 years ago. We get the details from Joanne Geary is Managing Director of MyHome.ie .
