The business began as a recipe and how-to blog with trusted and tested-until-perfected recipes supported by beautiful imagery and graphics of her bakes. Baking served as a stress-reliever while Frith was practising becoming a now-fully-recovered lawyer. It quickly turned from a hobby to a passion. Frith was selected as a contestant on Season 4 of the Great Canadian Baking Show and went on to become a semi- finalist. Frith began hosting virtual baking classes and corporate events during the pandemic as a way of bringing people and colleagues together for a fun and educational event. When the world opened up again, she pivoted to in-person events and classes at a commercial kitchen and event space in Toronto’s east end, called Mess Hall.
