Dr Nancy O'reilly

Monica Nyiraguhabwa tells the story of her life as a young girl in the slums of Kampala, Uganda, and how the injustices she faced because of a culture that does not value girls inspired her to change the lives of young girls. She co-founded Girl Up Initiative Uganda to help girls find their voices, and be empowered to lead, thrive and share their knowledge with their families and communities.
