National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed by Mary Fischer for the New York Times, on March 14, 2002. This was the first of two calls, with the larger interview conducted the following day. The writer had already begun writing an article about non-Mormon based polygamy.  She had learned of Mark Henkel as an established authority on the topic through the author of a new book at the time (“A Three Ring Marriage”) whose website for the book was ordered and hosted by the webhosting services of the TruthBearer.org organization, founded by Mark Henkel.
