National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed by Jeff Inglis, the Managing Editor for The Portland Phoenix newspaper, in Portland, Maine, on November 13, 2009. This interview occurred 10 days after Maine voters, by a "People's Veto" referendum in a mid-term election, repealed a new same sex marriage law. (NOTE:, same sex marriage later became legalized "again" in Maine by the nationwide US Supreme Court decision of Obergefell v. Hodges on June 26, 2015).
