National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed by Harriet Pleming for the BBC, in London, England, on March 24, 2003. Having previously given an interview a few months beforehand with a different BBC journalist, Mark Henkel was glad to help the BBC in their continuing research into the new movement of Christian Polygamy and the TruthBearer.org organization. Mark Henkel explained the Reformation, "Sola Scriptura," how and why individual Bible-studying Christians come to discover and understand that the Bible never banned polygamy, and how the organization is "Continuing the Reformation." Explaining how the organization does this for others and overall society, he said, "It is really a sociological process of paradigm shifting." Mark Henkel even noted how some renowned Christian media elite have publicly paradigm-shifted, by their saying, "You won't find the Bible calling polygamy a sin, but we don't recommend it." Mark Henkel also clarifed that normal polygamists around
