National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was interviewed on The Rude Awakening Show on Ocean 98.1 WOCM in Ocean City MD (serving "DelMarVa" & NJ) on January 25, 2010, to discuss UCAP, Unrelated Consenting Adult Polygamy. While the co-host spoke positively about HBO's "Big Love," the main host, "Bulldog" (David Rothner), lived up to his nickname, asking why polygamists could not opt to just "NOT get married." States such as Virginia & Maryland still criminalizing a married man having relations with anyone NOT his legally married wife, combined with the co-habitation clause in those states' bigamy statutes, do make it a crime.
