They may not be bad things, or evil things, a lot of the time they are good things, even great things… but they aren’t the best things. And so while our lives fill up with all of these good things, slowly we are distracted from the best. As a result, we find ourselves tired, weary, overwhelmed, uncertain, unfocused, and disconnected. We find ourselves asking questions like “How am I going to do all of this?” “What did I get myself into?” Or making sad jokes about having extra hours in the day.
