Drawing from their experiences in New York Theatre and indie short films, they came up with the concept of a mockumentary that serves as a bit of a "love letter" to Cape May, the quirky and eccentric characters they encountered in the world of pickleball, and the sport itself. Despite initial resistance as a former tennis player, Leigh Anne embraced the project wholeheartedly.
