Lewis Hamilton, Alpine, and Max Verstappen had stellar weekends while McLaren and AlphaTauri struggled mightily. Lando Norris had a late puncture, and Daniel Ricciardo had fuel issues. Nikita Mazepin was nowhere to be found all weekend. The stars of the pre-race festivities were the World Cup trophy and the cowboy kid in the anthem choir. The drama also continued with the stewards after yellow flag decisions in qualifying and Red Bull bosses being summoned after the race.
