On August 2, 2013, Attorney General Claudia Paz y Paz fired prosecutor Gilda Aguilar. Our report of two days later covers the events that led to the firing. Since 2012 KPFA radio, from Berkley USA, has been pretty active following the Guatemalan situation, particularly in the countryside of our nation.
