Sinopsis
One of the great, unfortunate situations surrounding WCW in the early 90s is why, when Ric Flair left the company, they let Starrcade become Battlebowl? Starrcade had been known as the granddaddy of them all when it came to PPV, and Ric Flair was, in a sense, the granddaddy of the granddaddy of them all. When he took the world title and left WCW, instead of trying to make the PPV great without him, the PPV became Battlebowl. Now it's 1993, and Ric Flair has returned and, you guessed it, Battlebowl is no longer a part of Starrcade. It is its own PPV. As we approach Starrcade 1993, join us for Vader's last dominant triumph as world champion. Also, we debate why Steamboat can be "grumpy old man who gets pissed when heels wrestle cleanly" and still be a face, but Ron Simmons becomes a heel when he attacks a tag partner who wouldn't help him win the match. The legacy series presents: Battlebowl 1993.
