On this episode are The Please & Thank Yous from Chicago. They've been around for four years and have two releases out. Check out their bandcamp for more great tunes. Another great band, but no longer around, are the Power Pellets. I've been listening to these guys for a while now, but never had the good fortune to see them live. I think the first time I ever heard a bass guitar solo was on their track, Classmate, another great song by them. The Slats come from Minnesota, a band of many sounds, playing garage rock tunes to experimental stuff. Really fun to listen to
