Having considered the person and character of Jesus Christ as our great high priest, the author of Hebrews states the main point of the past few chapters: that Christ is not yet another shadow of the things to come, but the very reality to which all that had come before him pointed. In this sermon, two typological aspects are considered: Christ's place of ministry and the nature of his offering.
