“Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create” – Jana Kingsford. I’m often asked how I have created balance while running and growing a business, especially when my kids were babies. The simple answer is that it wasn't easy. The better answer is that even though it wasn’t easy, it depended on how my husband and I managed our work and home lives.    It was a team effort for us. When I would go into heavy work mode and not come up for air, he’d come into my office, shut my computer off, and tell me to come upstairs to hang out with him and the kids. After five minutes, I would always look at him and thank him because he knew what I needed more than I did.
