About a dozen people in Chester, Delaware County, are displaced from their homes this Christmas morning after a fire ripped through four rowhomes. This happened around 5:30 a.m. on West Seventh Street near Lincoln Street. Officials say the fast-moving fire spread across the roofs the homes before firefighters from multiple departments got the flames under control. Chester Fire Commissioner John Paul Shirley tells NBC10 that, fortunately, no one was hurt. ****** We are learning more about the Delaware State Police Corporal Grade One Matthew T. Snook, who was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday at a Wilmington-area DMV.
