Send us a textIn “Created for Work,” Pastor Aaron walks through Genesis 1:26–31 (with Genesis 2:15 and 3:17–19) to remind us that God designed work as part of His good creation—not as a curse to endure, but a calling to steward.First, we work because we’re made in God’s image. Humanity is the “very good” climax of creation, given dignity and purpose to represent God’s character—through creativity, wisdom, justice, and love—in everyday life. Second, we work because God commands it: “be fruitful,” “multiply,” and “have dominion.” Adam’s task to “work and keep” the garden shows that God provides—and we steward His provision, skills, and assignments with faithful responsibility. Third, the sermon acknowledges the frustration of work after the Fall, but emphasizes that our ability to work as God intended is limited, not lost—and Christ can redeem our attitude and endurance, even in difficult workplaces.
