Dr. Gerold Ebenbichler, a physiatrist practicing in Vienna, Austria, conducted a 10 year study to follow both the structure and function related long-term course of shoulders that had been treated with therapeutic ultrasound (US) for symptomatic calcific tendinitis. His study is published in the September 2018 issue of the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
