Belated St Patrick’s Day celebrations have been taking place in North Yorkshire. The Royal Dragoon Guards have been on parade at Richmond Castle to recognize their Irish ancestry and to highlight the self-sacrifice of Captain Oates who was part of Scott’s Antarctic expedition in 1912.
