Sinopsis

This title is one you know only a poet could explain. Our guest this week, DERICK EBERT happens to be one, and a very accomplished one as well. Derick is the first ever Baltimore Youth Poet Laureate, a spoken word artist, a teacher, a twin, a published author, and soon to be a TED speaker. He has had his poems published in American Short Fiction, the Baltimore Magazine, as well as, the Poetry Society of America. Derick was also named Baltimore’s 2015 Rising Star, and has blessed stages from New York to New Orleans. This is our exciting chat with him. The Strange Squad talks about Harvey Weinstein, Worldstar Hip Hop promoting criminal behavior, and Happy Death Day. This is the 22nd episode of Strange Flavors, brought to you by Alif Theory. _____________________________________________ Email Us / Send Music: strangeflavorspodcast@gmail.com Tweet us: http://twitter.com/StrangeFlavors_ Facebook: http://facebook.com/StrangeFlavorsPodcast LINKS: Derick’s Website: http://derickpoetry.com/about/ Derick’s Facebook
