Start where they aren’t.  “The email newsletter space is incredibly difficult,” says Adam Robinson. “Mailchimp has a great free product that isn’t really free, so we looked at what Mailchimp wasn’t doing.” Adam created GetEmails email-based retargeting by combining existing services in ways no one else had thought of. When his product was ready, and with a grand total of zero integrations, they bought $5,000 in Facebook ads. Less than a month later, GetEmails had $10,000 monthly recurring revenue, even though, Adam admits, “That early product wasn’t that great.” So they’re still evolving, and they’re revolutionizing the market.
