Our D23 Expo 2019 recap continues on Notably Disney with an additional set of perspectives. First up is a conversation with musician Matt Grinke, who leads The Happiest Big Band on Earth, based out of Vancouver and plays various renditions of Disney songs. He discusses what it was like to meet many talented performers, including Randy Newman (Toy Story, The Princess and the Frog) and Auli'i Cravalho (Moana), and catch some amazing presentations like The Music and Sounds of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Later, his brother Joel Grinke, a creative technologist, comes onto Notably Disney to share his perceptions of some of the music- and book-related presentations, as well as how the Expo has evolved over the past several iterations that he has attended.
