Do The Write Thing

This week we read and discussed stories that focused on Personification and also used 3 of the words Athlete, Fountain, Attention, Eavesdrop. Our extra challenge is to practice Tracing. The idea here is to "trace" the prose of an author you admire so that you can learn from or even replicate that author's style. Find a particular section of prose you particularly enjoy from an author you want to learn from, and copy that section down, word for word. Doing so by hand is ideal, but typing it can be useful as well. Aim to at least copy down a page or two, but more is better. - After doing so, try to replicate that writing style!
