Sinopsis

(NOTE:This is a previously released episode from 2013 that had to have some of the material from the stopsets edited out as part of a legal settlement made in 2014. The music content is still intact.) "Episode 19" has Jay Nichols reflecting about his recent trip to Springfield, Illinois regarding a wedding (Not his). He also pays tribute to the deaths of former Zappa keyboardist George Duke and Park Ridge, Illinois actress Karen Black. He also goes in depth to explain his "Hoodrats For Harvard" remark that he made in a previous podcast episode and he makes an observation about a musical category that hits him right in the painful part of his generation gap. Songlist is available in the Music Diversity Protection Program With Jay Nichols Facebook page.
