Scott Calame, Founder of TexAgave, has made a career out of reinventing his career. He has been an attorney, an Adjunct Professor, an ad agency executive and a freelance copy writer but he has just ripcorded out to not only start a new company but he’s actually starting an entirely new industry. Scott is now Distiller. TexAgave is a blue agave spirit that is similar tequila but is made in Texas, not in Jalisco Mexico, so it can’t be called tequila. We get a behind the scenes tour of what it takes to found a company where the first step in selling the product is educating the consumer, one consumer at a time.
