Joseph had gone from "Dreamer to Survivor," from rich to poor, from freedom to captivity. As he walked out of the slave-pen, past the glorious pyramids, through the dusty markets and down to the Nile river valley that would be his new home, Joseph must have wondered what God was trying to do to him. The reality was that God’s dream for Joseph was alive and well, and, though Joseph did not understand it all, God was doing a work in him, so that He could do a work through him.
