In the latest episode of Dirty Kurt's Dugout, host Kurt Bevacqua interviews filmmaker Renee James of Shoeless Joe Productions and former slugger Gorman Thomas, who played with Kurt in Milwaukee. For a decade, Renee has been working on a movie about Shoeless Joe Jackson's entire life - not just the infamous and perhaps wrongly understood Black Sox scandal of 1919 - but also his impoverished upbringing and his amazing baseball career. "I firmly believe Joe got a raw deal, and his story deserves to be told," she tells Kurt. "I hope we do it justice.
