PTT 127: Social Media and the Philippine Elections

Informações:

Sinopsis

Elections are always exciting anywhere in the world. But I guess nothing beats the Philippine Elections. With the pandemic restrictions and new variant threats, there is no better way for national and local candidates but to present their plans via social media - whether it's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or TikTok. That is, if they know and understand the rules. Philippines' Commission on Elections always issues rules to implement the Fair Election Act (Republic Act No. 9006). The latest rules are contained in Comelec Resolution No. 10730 - which I painstakingly read to find out how political marketers can use social media for this year's campaign period.
