Sharon: The Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade which federally protected a woman's right to have access to an abortion. They threw it back to the states to decide for each state. For 50 years women have felt protected not only due o the abortion provision but the overarching precedent that no one can control what happens to our bodies but us. The conservatives are hoping to use this precedent to now change laws around interracial marriage, same sex marriage, privacy in the bedroom, a woman's access to birth control or drugs you take after you miscarry, all kinds of colateral changes are going to be affected.
