In 2017, Morgan announced that he had been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, an incurable disease that causes progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass. He noticed as early as 2011 that his right pectoral muscle was deteriorating and sought out medical specialists to determine what was going on. It took over five years for doctors to determine the muscular dystrophy diagnosis, all the while his muscle was atrophying and his swing velocity was decreasing. Morgan walks us through some of the therapies and approaches he has adopted to address the impact of muscular dystrophy on his golf career.
