The final sermon in the series tackled the issues of giving: based on the account of Jesus watching the widow in the Temple. Jesus sees what is in our hand and delights in total commitment - sacrifice rather than contribution, interested in what we have left as much as what we give. Mark 12:41-44

Paul encouraged the believers to fight for the gospel, to defend what they had received. Pete looked at 4 challenges the gospel faces today: relativism, moralism, religion and materialism.

We should all be changed by the gospel: in a moment and over time. It is not about modifying behaviour but understanding your identity and having a heart change.

Jesus declared that if anyone is thirsty they can come to him and drink. The Holy Spirit will be living water overflowing in you. John 7:37-44

The Holy Spirit is mentioned in the first and last chapter of the Bible and is everywhere in between. Jesus declared it was better that He left His disciples so the Spirit would come. The Holy Spirit lives in us and brings intimacy with the Father.
