Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike thinks it is no coincidence that the Steelers signed Cordarrelle Patterson hours after the NFL changed its kickoff rules to bring that aspect back into the game. Mike said the Steelers could have a nice advantage on kickoffs and why that could hugely help them next season. The guys asked Mike about a few other rules changes and how they will impact the games next season. Mike doesn’t think all of the rules, which appear to be for player safety, will save the league from more injuries. 

Poni said it has finally dawned on him that Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are Steelers, and he said that is because they have had news around them pretty much every day since free agency began. Why does the national media seem to think Fields will quickly take over as the team’s starting QB in place of Wilson? If the Steelers had to play a game tomorrow, which QB would opposing teams want to face? 

Hour 1: The Penguins beat the Hurricanes last night and their old friend Jake Guentzel. The big headline came after the game when Guentzel talked about his departure from Pittsburgh and if he would be back. It sounded like Guentzel laughed off the answer when asked if he would come back this off-season. Does Guentzel want to come back? Do his people want to come back?  Poni has baby songs stuck in his head due to Stella going through that stage in her life. The discussion then turned to Sesame Street and other iconic kid shows.  Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. The guys asked Tyler how far away the Penguins are from winning a Stanley Cup. Tyler said the Pens are entering a rebuild and just have to focus on getting back to the playoffs before the Stanley Cup can be a realistic goal. TK isn’t worried about how Sidney Crosby will react to going through this and said he’s built to stay in the city he’s always been.

Hour 3 with Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller: Kentucky head coach John Calipari lost in Pittsburgh again after losing his last time in the city against Robert Morris. Kentucky's veterans did well, but the freshman struggled. Chris thinks Calipari lost the game against Oakland for his team. When Poni talked to Keith Dambrot at the start of the season, he thought Duquesne would have a good team and Dambrot was confident of good things for the Dukes. Oakland basketball coach Greg Kampe joined the show after upsetting Kentucky in Pittsburgh Thursday night. Duquesne professor Bob Healy (Baldwin guy) joined the show to talk about canceling classes following Duquesne's win in the tournament.  He's the director for sports info and media at Duquesne. Hodgepodge of Nothingness.

We hope this is a smokescreen with the Steelers at tackle thinking Dan Moore will still be a starter. Steelers insider Mark Kaboly of The Athletic joined the show. Justin Fields and the Steelers need to agree on a new deal to avoid picking up the 5th-year option for 2025.
