Mask wearing isn't just something we do for fun this time of year.  Mask wearing is all too often the common thing to do.  We pretend to be something we're not to compensate for something deep inside or we conceal because we're afraid of being found out.  The truth of the matter is that God knows us.  And, He wants us to be authentic before Him and those around us.  What kind of mask could you be wearing?  Are you needing to confess some wrongs and become restored through Christ?  End the hypocrisy and tear down the barriers between you and God.

We're seeing our culture in this world shift from seeing Christianity as positive and real to less significant and negative.  The need to be an influence and truly be the light in this world is greater than ever for us in this country and is increasingly becoming needed.  Are you ready for a test?  Are you willing to stand up for your faith?  In Christ there is hope for those who love Him.

For some reason, we are all hard wired to think that we've got to work to be right with God.  The truth is that the work has already been done by Jesus.  We are saved by grace.  And, it's out of this wonderful grace that we should want to make sacrifices and serve the Lord.

We live in a culture where we learn the wrong definition of love.  God has created something much more valuable than we make it.  This message is all about Getting Love Right.

Humility is similar to meekness.  Despite the more popular meaning of the word meekness, it also refers to surrendering to a higher power and allowing that power to direct you.  If we are to be REAL about our faith in Christ, we must humble ourselves and allow Him leadership.

Real submission is letting God take control and trusting Him in all things.  In order to follow, we must allow Him to lead.

The subject of submission gets distorted by culture, opinion and difference in gender.  Scripture tells the wife to submit to their husband, but it also tells the husband to treat his wife as Jesus treats the church with deep love, sacrifice and honor.  This submission really applies to both genders.  Real submission is out of a heart of love for one another.

We need not constantly seek approval from others.  All we ever need is God's approval.  The last message in the EGO series.
