Covid has hit the city hard and since the government has abandoned us maybe we can at least try to save a few historic businesses that are at risk of going away for good. Another month of 2020, another episode of L.A. Meekly.  In viewing what has been going on in our city the past month and looking towards the future we decided to take a look back at two parallels from the city's past: the 1965 Watts Uprising (21:09) and the 1992 Riots following the beating of Rodney King (1:04:31).  ATTENTION! Summer is here and it's nothing like any of us expected. In this very summer vacation style loose episode we'll be covering what summer in LA means to us and a few of our favorite traditions we like to take part in under better circumstances.
