They’re ready to fight, but Jesus shows that His kingdom won’t come by force—it will come through surrender, obedience, and faithful witness. In the courtyard, Peter’s fear and disappointment lead to a heartbreaking moment: he denies even knowing Jesus. But when the rooster crows and Jesus looks at him, Peter breaks down and weeps—an image of conviction and repentance.This message invites us to take our weakness seriously, lean into prayer, lay our disappointments at the foot of the cross, and trust that Jesus meets real failure with grace, forgiveness, and a call to return.
