On this week's show, Mazza, Plan and Maverick are back to look ahead to WWE's Extreme Rules PPV.  With the company getting a lot of stick for their creative, the guys try to find some positives and bright spots amongst the doom and gloom on a show that is bringing quite a lot of matches to the table.  Find out their thoughts on the Hell No reunion, comedy tag teams, shark cages, portaloos, constables and more at the usual time.

This week, The Doc is calling it like he sees it and, the way he sees it, Extreme Rules this Sunday looks like an extremely boring pay-per-view.  For every positive such as Rusev finally getting a chance to cash-in on the popularity he has earned these past several months, there are two somethings that are considerably less engaging.  Nevertheless, Doc attempts to find the kernels of intrigue in every outing, so in this podcast you will get a thorough account of each match, looking above and below the water line that dictates the glass being half empty or half full.  At the end of the day, a card cannot be fully judged via its build-up and on-paper dynamics, so we will all see how it goes on Sunday.  This preview will get you primed.

On this week's show, Mazza and Plan look at gimmick matches in WWE's history and their favourite examples of those gimmicks.  Ladders are first up as they take a walk through ladders, TLCs and Money in the Bank matches.  Cages are next as the guys look at the regular steel cages, Hell in a Cells and Elimination Chambers.  Sadly Punjabi Prisons and Kennels From Hell were overlooked.  Multi-falls then hit the agenda as ironman, best 2 out of 3 falls and 3 stages of hell get some love.  They close things off by looking at a real treasure trove of classics in the No-DQ/Hardcore/Extreme Rules/No Holds Barred (and a million other slight variations) style.

This week, The Doc offers a quick-hitting 30-minute podcast to be easily digested while you're on summer vacation or, in the USA, celebrating the 4th of July.  With Brock Lesnar's return being a focal point for Summerslam and the recent rumor of Undertaker coming back too, the part-timer problem has found itself prominently in the Summer Classic discussion, a creative decision that would sit none too well with Doc, who likens the phenomenon to a manager in football/soccer or a coach or GM in basketball who overly relies on aging veterans long past their primes out of a combination of fear and complacency, but who simultaneously weaken the product that they put out on the field or court.  In those arenas, the consequence is getting fired, but there is no such accountability for one Vincent Kennedy McMahon, whose visionary business decisions as "team" owner speak for themselves, but whose creative decisions undermine the knowledge and savvy of "assistant GMs" like Triple H, reducing the quality of the product o

This week, The Doc has got a lot on his mind, but chief among the list is Seth Rollins losing the Intercontinental Title, which simultaneously - at least in theory - frees him up to go after the Universal Championship.  With his interest in Summerslam, based on rumors anyway, not exactly built on a sturdy foundation, Doc is hopeful that The Architect can craft a plan to save the Summer Classic from another dull as socks main-event.  Also up for debate is Rusev becoming #1 contender to the WWE Championship, the Wrestlers of the Month for June, and a very interesting rundown of the Match of the Month contenders, as well as a suggested playlist to honor the late, great Vader.
