The Alliance to End Hulkamania is upon us. Some would think that this is a good thing. It is not. As we barrel onward towards the watershed moment that is Bash at the Beach, we stop here some four months earlier to find Hulkamania at its absolute WCW peak, in storyline monopolization if not fan reaction, as the Hulkster and Macho Man team up to take on Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Meng, The Barbarian, Kevin Sullivan, freakin' Zeus and... um... Bane? I'm pretty sure that's Bane. They definitely should've gone with Bane, as Ultimate Solution has some pretty not so awesome connotations. Either way, this ungodly alliance has united to bring the Mega Powers inside the massive Doomsday Cage.  Before that, we take some time to discuss a pretty strong undercard featuring matches like Lord Steven Regal vs Fit Finlay, Sting and Booker T vs The Road Warriors and the WCW PPV debut of the legendary Booty Man. Yes, the Booty Man.  It's a wild ride, and the Mystic and mizfan are here to take it along with you. 

On this week's show Mazza and Maverick discuss some of their favourite WrestleMania throughout the history of the event.  They have a brief look at what they are enjoying this year, with the short in the arm the Wyatt Family has had and the fallout of the fantastic Festival of Friendship segment.  They then switch gears to history as they look at the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin, the prep for a Dream Match, a fantastic feud with a terrible payoff and an old TRSOTP favourite!

The Road to WrestleMania 33 continues as, after a three year absence, Elimination Chamber returns! John Cena takes his record 16th World Championship into the Chamber a mere two weeks after winning it against AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Miz, Dean Ambrose and the Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt. Will he be able to escape with the title intact and head towards a WrestleMania date with Royal Rumble winner, Randy Orton? The Women's Championship is also on the line as Alexa Bliss defends against Naomi, American Alpha takes on the world in a tag team turmoil match for the Tag Team titles and Nikki Bella looks to settle her feud with Natalya. That last one's kinda anticlimactic, isn't it? It looks like it's set to be a great show, as we've come to expect from the Smackdown brand, and it will surely have massive implications towards WrestleMania 33. If you remember the first half of 1996, you remember it was dominated by the Giant. This will be the six month period where the Giant will take on (and take down) the WCW foundation of Flair, Sting, and Luger. So, you might ask yourself, who is this Giant who is being dominated and defeated at Superbrawl VI? Well, that's the same Giant. They will discuss when they first began to feel that Wrestlemania began to move down this dark path, how they feel about Wrestlemania's traditional place atop the pantheon of pay-per-view, why significant events taking place at other times of the year may not be a bad thing, and how the new generation of headliners can survive being stunted by their lack of exposure at the Show of Shows. This week, The Doc offers his 5-Star Preview for WWE Elimination Chamber, which he has never been overly fond of happening right before WrestleMania.  He will detail his reasoning in the midst of discussing the top matches and declaring who he thinks will go onto "The Show of Shows" as WWE Champion.  Also, Doc is going to be shooting from the hip to start today's show, working through some mental hurdles with the now multi-year booking strategy for WrestleMania that so often seems to threaten wrestling fandoms among the diehard enthusiasts instead of enhancing them.
