This week Mazza and Plan give their own take on WWE's newest network show.  They start things off by sharing their thoughts on WWE's Bring it to the Table with JBL and Paul Heyman.  They then give their thoughts on some of the hot talking points in the wrestling world.  They will be looking at the main event of WrestleKingdom between Omega and Okada.  They will discuss how 205 Live is coming along.  They will share their thoughts on The Undertaker possibly hanging up the boots for good.  They assess Kevin Owens' title reign and more.

Join LOP Columns Hall of Famer, Xanman, as he looks back at New Japan Pro Wrestling's biggest show of the year, Wrestle Kingdom 11! It's a stacked card, as eight of the eleven matches will be contested for championships. Tetsuya Naito will defend the IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi, Katsuyori Shibata defends his NEVER Openweight Championship against Hirooki Goto and Kushida puts the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship on the line against Hiromu Takahashi. Also, as part of a partnership between NJPW and Ring of Honor, the ROH World CHampionship will be defended with Champion Kyle O'Reilly taking on Adam Cole. The main event will see reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada, defending his title against 2016 G1 Climax winner, Kenny Omega, in a match that many are expecting to blow the roof off of the famed Tokyo Dome. It is WCW Fall Brawl 1995, featuring Arn Anderson versus Ric Flair right in the heart of Flair/Horsemen country. Arn Anderson has said that this match, with the anticipation of facing Flair, is the only time he has vomited before a match. Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan must climb in a cage with some of the "fiercest" competitors, from the soon-to-be Booty Man to Kamala to the Shark. Worse still: Lex Luger has revealed the evil ambition of wanting to be a world champion. With friends who want to succeed in their life pursuits, who needs enemies!? Can Hulk-A-Mania survive such peril?  

Maverick and Mazza have a full and wide ranging discussion about the state of Monday Night Raw, a show they maintain is actually rounding into promising form and has never been as bad as the IWC would have you believe. Among the topics discussed are whether Stephanie and Mick are stepping on each other's business too much, the return of Bill Goldberg and his interaction with Jericho and Owens, and the ongoing feud between Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn. As always, there will be mirth and silliness to go alongside the analysis!

This week, The Doc discusses the things that he hopes to see most from WWE in 2017, with a focus on three major wishes that cover foundational themes for the world's preeminent pro wrestling promotion, one involving WrestleMania, one involving characters in general, and one involving the weekly TV shows.  He will also share five other, more specific hopes for the New Year, including a match that would love to see and a few wrestlers who finally need to put someone over who isn't 40 years old and/or debuted in WWE 15 years ago.  It's got a different tone this week than the typical show, that's for sure!

2016 was certainly an odd year in general, a fact that carried over into the world of pro wrestling. We saw huge debuts, dream matches come to life, the main roster ascent of some of NXT's biggest stars of the last few years and plenty, plenty more. The Shifty Awards, celebrating their 3rd year of existence, will hand out awards in a variety of categories. Who will Steve declare the Best In Ring Performer of the Year? Tag Team of the Year? Storyline of the Year? Match of the Year? Those and plenty more categories will be determined as The Late Shift with Steven Bell brings you this special edition, The 3rd Annual Shifty Awards!

After a one-week hiatus, it's the return of WCW: TLS! For this week, we leave behind PPV coverage in order to bring you the premiere of WCW Nitro (episodes 1 and 2). mystic's first favorite wrestler, Lex Luger, returns and he goes face-to-face with Hulk Hogan. This is WCW's first direct shot at WWF, as Luger was thought to still be working for WWF. It's week one and already Bischoff has thrown ethics out the window. This week Mazza, Maverick and Shinobi (yes, really!) are in the house for the annual TRSOTP predictions show.  They kick things off with a look back at the great calls and total failures from last year's show.  They then take a shot at some bold (and some not so bold) predictions for 2017.  They finish things off with a quickfire round where they take a guess at what will happen with some of the biggest moments of the year to come. 

This week, The Doc has several things on his mind that he wants to put out there before 2016 comes to an end.  Though they won't be the most popular topics amidst a slew of year-end discussions, he wants to talk about the rise and fall of Dean Ambrose and the unique change in his relationship with the fans.  Doc also wants to converse on the Royal Rumble finally returning to the place that so many of us hoped it would throughout the decade and the WWE Network stepping up this year to offer so many extra special things that made the monthly cost seem like nothing.  Doc will also reveal four other year-end awards as voted on by his readers and social media discussion-partners!
