This morning we study 1 John 3 - Love in Action. Is there anything more significant for the believer than to love one another? "You will know them by their love" Jesus said.

One more week we find ourselves in Hebrews 6. This week the author concludes his argument concerning better things with this: hope. Hope that is found in Jesus, who is the Anchor of Our Souls.

This morning in The Gospel Project we are looking at James 2. An ongoing battle in our world for believers is to banish favoritism and embrace love and mercy for all.

As we continue our study of Hebrews, we move forward with the argument found in chapter 6, that challenges us to move on, mature, embrace Jesus, not just for salvation but for life , and to pursue Better Things.

This morning we study 1 Corinthians 1. As the new church began, we find many diversities; as we do in the church today. But the church is that most unique of all things in that it is the Body of Christ and in Him, we find unity.

This morning as we continue our study in Hebrews, we come to a passage that can be difficult and misunderstood. Leave that and press on, the writer of Hebrews exhorts us. What do we leave? And what are the consequences if we do not? And to whom is the writer talking? We will answer these questions and more this morning.

This morning Pastor Ted Duncan teaches us about the True Hope by first exposing the false hopes of the world, and then examining the true hope, the only hope - Jesus Christ.

This morning Frank M. teaches from Galatians 2. We learn that God calls us to stand our ground and refuse to compromise when the truth of the gospel is at stake.

This morning as we continue to look at Hebrews, we are challenged to grow, mature, to go on to the deep things of God. A key part of that is to train ourselves to discern good and evil - a vital and needed skill for life today.

In our ongoing study in The Gospel Project, we have looked at: the Messenger, the Method, the Converts, the Culture, and then today we look at the Setting. That is, we see that God has placed every one of us in an unique place with unique people that we we might witness and disciple.

This morning our youth pastor, Trevor Jones steps into the pulpit and teaches about perspective. How do you handle the disappointments of life? What do you do when things do not go according to your plan? Trevor gives us some great Biblical insight into how to deal with those issues of life in a better way.

In our ongoing study of Acts, we come to Acts 17. This is known as Paul's Mars Hill address. What makes this sermon so worthwhile and worth our study is that Paul knew his audience and that knowledge enabled him to share the Gospel in a very meaningful way. The same is true for us today. If we are to influence people for Jesus in our culture, we must use wisdom in what we say, when to say it, and to whom we say it.

Last week we saw that Jesus is our Great High Priest. As the writer of Hebrews continues to form his argument, we see in chapter 5, why Jesus is our Great High Priest and why He is Superior to all other high priest.

In our study of Acts, we have seen God saved, seen how He uses missionaries, and seen that salvation is found in Christ alone. Today we see that the members of this thing called the church comes from many diverse backgrounds and cultures. The church is the original melting pot - beauty and oneness for the Glory of God.

This is the second week in a row of looking at Christianity 101. Last week we focused in on the Word of God. Today it is prayer. In our passage in Hebrews we see that we can and ought to pray. Pray regularly. Pray boldly. Pray knowing that He cares. Pray and receive mercy, grace, hope and help. Pray.

This morning in the book of Acts, we come to chapter 15. A major problem has come up in the early church - is it Jesus Christ plus nothing or is it Jesus Christ plus other things in order to be saved? That was the question then and it is a question today. The answer then and the answer today is Jesus plus nothing else. Salvation is by Him and Him alone.

The Word of God. The Bible. Given by God to tell us what we need to know about God, about ourselves, about sin, about how to be saved, and about how to live. This wonderful Book is God's message to us. It is useful, practical and completely true.

This morning our study in The Gospel Project, in the book of Acts, takes us to the method God uses to spread the message. We are told to go. But we are also told to send. So God raises up specific believers called missionaries - He used them in the early church and He uses them today.

This morning on Graduation Sunday, we focus on how our choices in everyday life need to be grounded in Biblical principles.

Today we look at Acts 9 and see that Paul's conversion is an example of God's power to save, that no one is outside of the scope of God's generous grace.
