One of Jesus’ greatest stories (Luke 15:11–31) was about a huge celebration, when the prodigal son returned and the father said, ‘Let’s have a feast and celebrate’ (v.23). So we know that it is biblical to celebrate but why should we celebrate?

In Luke 21 Jesus tells us and his disciples here that giving is a measure of our spiritual growth as he describes the offering of this widow. There are other worshippers there that day. But while He sees what everyone else is doing – He focuses on this one woman. What is so important about this widow that Jesus would spend his last moments to show us? Listen as Pastor Jeremy Leads

What matters to God and what do we need? We all want to make a difference in this world. The way we use our resources determines our impact. The great paradox in life is this: those who try to hold on to their lives will lose them, and the ones who generously sacrifice their lives will gain them. We will explore how a generous life will change us and change the world.

They Need Help. What can you do? When the challenge is greater than you are. When the hurt is huge. When you feel helpless. Where can you turn when someone needs help?

We are three weeks into Before Amen. The first week we talked about the Pocket Prayer and the 4x4 Pocket Prayer Challenge. And the first part of it Father ( really Daddy). Last week we focused on the next part You are Good and I Need Help. And this week it is Heal Me & Forgive Me.

We will consider what it means to grow older with God. Psalm 71:9 pleads Don’t cast me off in old age. Don’t abandon me when my strength is used up!

It’s good to have a support system in place, but we need to look further than that. Because history and experience teach us that no safety plan, no insurance policy, no security system can keep you absolutely safe in this life. You can follow all the safety rules, take every precaution, exercise and eat well, and things can still go wrong. Life has an if in the middle of it. So where is God in all of this?

Anyone who wants to know God—to walk closely with God—must ___ God. This week's O word is not a positive word these days. But how many of us have stopped to think that our avoidance of this O word may be keeping us from one of the great keys to the enjoyment of God and the transformation of our lives?

You know ABOUT God but do you really KNOW GOD? Do you know the 3 most important things about who God is and how they should influence our lives for God? Those 3 things will shape the kind of people we become, and the way we live our lives. What are those 3? Part 1 this week.
