The inimitable Brother Nature blessed us with his sounds to open the day on a rainy Saturday back in May. The vibes were warm and lovely as we've come to expect from the nature boy. Oi Oi, been a minute since the April party but I've finally gotten around to publishing this recording of the licorice pizza connoisseur @jnr-5 rinsing jungle and footwork for the closing 2 hours of that party! The vibes were outrageous! A huge thankyou to JNR for lending his skills to the evening, and an extra thank you to AT81 for the surprise b2b at the end of the set. This set was meant to be a b2b between myself and JNR but it unfortunately didn't work out that way. Fittingly, I will be playing at JNR's night at Chinese Laundry on the 3rd of August. Pots and Pans in abundance ❤

Big Ting member and all around Sydney badman 99 Nissan Patrol stopped by in April to grace us with a bunch of uptempo, vibey, breaks and bass music. This set was all time! Another one from the last Boog' this time from yours truly, throwing down a set of 90s hip house into bass music. This was a very considered set laying the foundation for breaks and bass lines early in the set. I had a great time playing it, I hope you enjoy listening to it! First mix off the press from the April event comes from the opening DJ Öncüm Yılmaz. Delivering on the promise of a beautifully executed all vinyl opening set, i knew the vibes were in safe hands as soon as the needle hit that first record. It was a lovely experience, blends of unexpected treasures graced the courtyard, the perfect backdrop to a sunny afternoon. Rounding out the recordings of last months Cosmic Boogie party, we have Cricket! Once again sending it for the solid 2 hours to close out the night. A vast and varied foray into 'the sounds that make us dance', Cricket blends and weaves through records and genres like water running down a mountain river. Always a good time

The one and only @EarnestJ rolled through the Boog' in March to show us how it's done. Laying down a scrumptious 2 hour journey of eclectic and vibrant wax selections. March 8th we got back to the Lord Gladstone courtyard for a lovely evening of tunes. This set was the opening set, recorded from 6-8pm, sun setting, quiet drinks, catch ups with friends, lots of smiles and cheer in the air at the end of the working week. I played this set with heavy influence from Osunlade and Ron Trent who I'd seen play the weekend before, mixed with some Australiana and spiritual messages about the state of humankind with everything going on in the world. On March 2nd, myself and Mark Cameron Jackson had the tremendous pleasure of playing a 7h set on the rooftop of the Burdekin Hotel on Sydney's Oxford st for their Mardi Gras viewing party. It was a great time! Spirits were high, vibes and drinks were flowing, big smiles all around. What a beautiful occasion and a gorgeous time it was. Last weekend we got back down to the familiar stomping grounds of the Lord Gladstone Courtyard for the first Cosmic Boogie of the new year. Sooo good to be back! Mr Roarke kindly graced us with 2 hours of GORGEOUS soulful house and disco to get us started. Throughout the recording you can expect beautiful blends, soothing rhythms and moments of energy perfectly distributed throughout the sound journey. Much respect to Mr Roarke for providing the vibes ❤

One night, 2 belated Birthdays, a decommissioned train tunnel, incredible production and a giant disco ball honestly made for one of the best parties I've been to in a long time. You may think me bias because I was Djing most of it but ask anyone who attended and they will tell you the same thing. Everything aligned perfectly for immaculate vibes the entire night. I was fortunate enough to be invited to contribute 4 hours of music for the night with my long term, very good friend @gilsun and the outcome was magical. Truly a new core memory. Unfortunately we were only able to salvage the last 1h45m of the set recording but it captures the high of the night perfectly. A huge thank you to Sandra and Pat for putting this incredible event on, it won't be forgotten any time soon!

Rubio (me) got down on June 3rd on duties to warm up to AHJU. Big eclectic tension building vibes throughout, slowly building the energy into a crescendo. This set was a real joy to play and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed playing it. Keep your eyes peeled for AHJU's set in the next week

6 Years ago my good friend Tom Studdy and myself did an all night b2b at the now defunkt Play Bar. It was a big big night with big big vibes. We're fortunate enough to have the great, the talented, the lovely, the Australian Institution that is Garage Pressure coming down to play for us on April 1st at Cosmic Boogie. To celebrate Farj has done a very special radio show for us from Eastside FM full of new and old incredible 4x4 UKG. It's a fabulous mix that includes a voiceover tracklist (for those playing along at home) and We can't wait to hear them do it live for us in the Lord Gladstone courtyard. Big up lads! Huge vibes!
